So a buddy is dropping out of the hobby and I might be picking up his Lucius pattern Titan. Problem is I play Chaos, and have no skill with sculpting or green stuff. Now, I don't have it yet, but I'd like to start picking up ideas on how I could make this bad boy more chaos like other than slapping some spikes from the rhino kits. Part of me would like to see it all nurgly, but as I said I have no skill with green stuff. Any input would be appreciated!

You don't need skill with greenstuff to nurglify things, skill would actually be an impediment.

Stab some holes in it, roll green stuff flat, press over hole, poke gs with the other end of a small paint brush repeatedly.

Super easy Nurgle trick, try it tonight! Place a drop of white glue on some scrap plasticard, an old base or something like that. Give it 10 minutes to develop a "skin". Place a drop of super glue on the white glue. Instant infected boil! Seriously, try it tonight. Tomorrow paint the boil a light color, wash with a darker color.

one thing I've seen is they take little strings and completely douse it in nurgle's rot. then they hang them from things like boils, pools of fluid rot or pus, or mucous. add that to the other and BAM! your gonna have the most disgusting and plagued knight of all!

have fun,

don't ruin an expensive model, use etched brass.

Thats a good idea try etched brass before you try other things.

Thanks for the great ideas!

I've never worked with etched brass before, do you just glue it on? Do you glue it on, then paint over it?

Plastic and greenstuff are easy too. Cut out the piece you want. Glue into place, smear some gs around it and attack it with a tool of somee kind. Then roll a wire brush over it and call it done.

I would say, as the Titan is an investment, make your modifications above-surface. Removable by someone with the right tools.

Don't hack into it, drill it or score it, build your nurg crustiness out of GS and materials. Both GS and superglue can be soaked and removed seamlessly by people with experience.

Treat it like a small car, that you can trade or sell if you ever need or want the investment back. Or you get halfway and have no time to finish.

Etched brass is just like any other bit part. Paint it, smooth gaps with GS before doing so. It's all good.

Is the wire brush just to create some sort of "pore" look? Very nice looking pics by the way lol

@buttery commissar thanks for the info. I didn't plan on drilling or cutting any holes in it. Like you said, it's an investment and I wouldnt permanently ruin such an expensive model.
