Hey, guys. If you know me, you know I like Ahriman.. So here's what I use. It's about 1850pts without the Forge World Aeteos'Rau'Keres aka Big Bird. I'll be taking all of this to Coastal Assault 2016 Jan 30th and hopefully Big Bird can do okay in the painting competition. The entire army including Big Bird was painted with two brushes and finally coated with spray gloss and trust me when I say that I am very happy to be done.. Converting one squad of Chaos Space Marines into Thousand Sons was done by adding plasticard that I carved up and glued to helmets (just like the terminator crests). The odd loin cloths and scarab/ankh bits are green stuff.

If you look through my old gallery photos, I have attempted to improve my painting from my previous Thousand Sons force!

Thanks for looking.. After this weekend I will have an event report and perhaps a video in the Batrep section.

Edit: Good news! TO says that I am not required to roll on the Tzeentch lore with the aspiring sorcerers or Ahriman this event. So Ahriman will be a 'good' level 4 and my squad leaders will probably take Sanctic. : ]

I like the floating rhinos but why?

There is not this idea.

Very gorgeous, I love the the bright blues. Really, it's easy to see the appeal of Thousand Sons; blue and gold go so well together.

I presume the rhinos are floating because of magic.

Thanks, guys.

Why spend energy maintaining Rhinos when you can just move them with your mind?

Can you show a pic of the bottom of them? (rhinos) I want to see how you hid where the tracks would be.

Really neat! All I could ask for would be better quality pics as this army looks very interesting.

I updated the first post with 11 pictures with some more detail.

Sorry, but they are still cellphone pics.

The coverings replacing the tracks are strips cut from a Cheez-Its box.
