Hiya Dakka

Recently I stumbled upon the old old White Dwarf #260 Feral Orks army list. I was able to finally get a PDF version of it and noticed that the last pdf page was different from the one separate Squiggoth page I already had. Does anyone know if they did an army list update to their original Feral Orks list at some point? Here are the pictures for reference.

The file that came with the pdf/ was in the magazine

No, they didn't.

Then is the top page a fan made one perhaps?

Yes, they DID update the Feral Ork List. The bottom picture is how they appeared in the original White Dwarf list. The top picture is from the 2004 White Dwarf Chapter approved compendium. I have that book and the white dwarf in question. This was basically the update.

If I remember it was because this thing was released in between:

Don't quote me on that though, it was a loooong time ago.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Chapter approved is the most reset version of the list. No 7th compatible non fanmade list exists

The Squiggoth and the gargantuan squiggoth got updated in IA8 and got later updated again in IA apocalypse.

fair warning, their rules are a mess and their point cost will make you sad

As noted there were 2 versions, a white dwarf list, then a CA list.

Since it's been 13 years since the last update, you might be best off using Squioths as battle wagons.
