Recently I created a Khorne Daemonkin Army, and I have been using Beserkers as my troops choice. They are way too expensive to die having to wait a turn after coming out of a rhino. I was wondering if I should replace them with Bloodletters or Cultists. We generally play between 1000-1500, and I play against Space Marines usually (last time I played someone who wasn't space marines was a year ago). The rest of my army is close combat oriented, except melta bikes and soul grinders w/ phlegm bombardment.

WAAAGH!!!

I would say Cultists. They're relatively cheap and can be pretty good objective campers while the rest of your force punches faces

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Letters are good for what they do and for the cost.

If you play against marines on a regular basis, I would recommend cultists. Cheap, numerous and they don't care about grav. Letters aren't bad either but I feel like cultists are slightly more point efficient. Either one is probably a better than your 'zurkers though. Sadly.

Edit: I just googled ablutions and apparently it does not including dropping a duece. I should have looked it up early sorry for any confusion. - Baldsmug

Wait, what were we talking about again? Did I ever tell you about the time I gave you five bees for a quarter? That's what you'd say in those days, "give me five bees for a quarter", is what you'd say in those days. And you'd go down to the D&D shop, with an onion in your belt, 'cause that was the style of the time. So there I was in the D&D shop..."

If you're against marines, bloodletters because deep strike and AP3 attacks are handy against low mobility units in an army that lacks interceptor. Can also serve and a deterent to podded marines and a unit of 8 isn't that much more expensive than a unit of 8 culstists and at least comes with a 5++

Letters sure have more utility and they're not that much more expensive than khornate cultists, really. Remember, you pay 10 extra pt for a champ on lowly dudes.
Letters are fine especially when you can take just 8. Spend 5 pt to make one character and call it a day. Banner is fine when you utilise mass deepstrike strategy. Otherwise, don't bother.

Remember the days where Bloodletters had AP2, 3+ armor on top of their 5++, and can charge out of deepstrike?

Ah, those were the good days.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
