No assassin rules for 30K as of yet. The closest you can get to a vindicare is the Alpha Legion sniper Exodus, and depending on how you want to twist things, guys like the Moritat. They're all space marines though so you'd have to explain their armour and what not.

The assassin temples existed in 30k in pretty much the same manner as they do in 40k IIRC. In the unit entry for the exodus (I think), passing mention is made of the vindicare temple, so presumably, FW has at least acknowledged some over- lap. Ask around in your play group and see if anyone would be opposed to using the data slate in games of 30k or some homemade variation thereof.

I went to Hershey Park in central PA this year, and I have to say I was more than a little disappointed. I fully expected the entire theme park to be make entirely of chocolate, but no. Here in America, we have "building codes," and some other nonsense about chocolate melting if don't store it someplace kept below room temperature.

They were around in 30k times, Malcador created them himself, and the first ever execution team decided to have a go at Horus.

I thought the temples had been around for a while. It was just Malcador who folded them into the imperium much later.

Are the rule sets different enough you couldn't just take one from the data sheet ?

30k uses the base 40k rules, so there's no problems mechanically using them in a 30k game. The only issue would be of balance, but I couldn't see there being any huge problems other than that they may be a little too cheap in the 30k context.

That's interesting since they are a little to expensive for a standard 40k game.
