Yesterday I read through the White Dwarf at my local FLGS, and below another article I saw a section of very small, but very detailed pictures of something that was very clearly Sonic Terminators and Sonic Marines. We tried to descern wether it was very elaborate conversions, or new kits, and frankly, we couldn't clearly see it - The Sonic Marines looked a lot like the Forgeworld Kakophoni, but weirder and more detailed, and the Sonic Terminators (or maybe just regular terminors, wasn't clear) was clearly chaotic, but seemed like it was a bit underplayed, with fewer spikes and no horns growing out of the muzzle of the helmets. Both model's shoulder pads seemed completely different from the old kits, and looked more like the Raptor kit.

I honestly can't say wether it conversions or not. The Kakophoni could go either ways; if GW wanted to bring back Noise Marines, they'd undoubtly make them more similar to Forgeworld's newer build. Again, the Terminators looked very different from what we know, but the size of the image made it difficult to see if it was a new sculpt, or a changed one.

I'm sorry to say that I wasn't bright enough at the moment to take a picture, but when I get around to finding it, I'll take a picture and post it.

The pictures are from the newest Warhammer Visions magazine, and they are all conversions - the noise marines are converted from Dark Vengeance Chosen.

Unfortunately these aren't new minis - there is a beautiful Emperor's Children army in Warhammer Visions this month some amazing conversions and I'm guessing it is part of that.

He has made some amazing Obliterators out of SM Centurions and a lot of Green Stuff.

Edit: Ninja'd!!

I can assure you that it wasn't those; had already seen them on the News and Rumors section, and it wasn't them. Of course it can be some other models from the same converted army, but the Centurion conversion was not one of them.

The fact that you can barely see the original centurion in these models is the true headline. These guys rock and would sell like 50 cent hotcakes even at 50 dollars if GW made them.

See pics of my Orks, Tau, Emperor's Children, Necrons, Space Wolves, and Dark Eldar here:

Gorgeous.

Why does everyone else do GW better than GW?

That would be sick if true.

NM if you read the text it clearly says that it showcases a golden demon army. They must be more from that amazing converter.

They look like terminator conversions by the same guy who did the centurion/obliterator conversions. Check out his deviantart page to find the terminators:

The sonic marines I haven't seen, but I have to assume it's the same guy.

It is nice to see the amazing creations the Chaos line's neglect inspires in crazy talented people.

It's really crazy to me. If the Chaos line looked half this good, I've have gone with an army of them in a heartbeat. I know it's certainly possible- the Chaos Chosen in the AoBR look great, it's just all of the other releases (dino-bots and all) that are very uninspiring

No problem, I am looking forward to the next Warhammer Visions now, this seems to be a good article.
