What can orks do against a hardcore necron list? Friend runs an all assault necron list with 12 wraiths, two units of 15 flayed ones, the jump guys with the shields, even a transcedent ctan. What ork units can stand up to and beat those?

A bunch of obsec trukks or fnp boyz. Kobbas to shoot down flayed ones or meganobz to charge and kill them before they shred boyz.

play for objectives not killing, camp objectives like a monster and get obj sec truks and wagons to lock them down.

meganobz are also really tough pills for him to ahndle as they just crush wahtever gets put in front of them in this matchup. and try and tangle up that ctan before he can get some form of traction going. keep him as immobile as possible

Take some kombi skorchas on trukk nobz, give the nobz also powerklawks.

Lootas are good, they fire AP4 which ignores warrior/flayed one armor- and puts lots of hits on wraiths. I am guessing your friend runs warriors, or your playing unbound.

If he's playing Decurion, just take tons of ObSec. Nothing he can do to get objectives, so the game will more than likely be yours.
