Slave on the Slave Snares

Hello all!
I finally registered for the forum after many eons of lurking in the shadows.
I have quite a few questions about warhammer AoS and 40k and really hoped the wonderful people on this forum could help me out!

Me and my friend are new players to Warhammer both AoS and soon want to pick up 40k as wel.
For the moment I have a bunch of lovely Skaven and he has some warriors of chaos (nowadays slaves to darkness I believe).
For 40k we are pondering over Dark Eldar and Necrons. We have played a few smallscale AoS battles, but we seem to fall over balance issue, to the frustration of my friend.
Most of the questions I google bring me to very outdated posts. What were looking for is balanced, smallscale armies for some fun skirmishes. But Ill ask my questions in the army list section ;3

for now I bid you all hello!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

IceAngel wrote:I must say Knightley, I am very envious of your squiggle ability. I mean, if squiggles were a tactical squad, you'd be the sergeant. If squiggles were an HQ, you'd be the special character. If squiggles were a way of life, you'd be Doctor Phil...

Hi. Welcome to Dakka

TheEyeOfNight- I swear, this thread is 70% smack talk, 20% RP organization, and 10% butt jokes
TheEyeOfNight- "Ordo Xenos reports that the Necrons have attained democracy, kamikaze tendencies, and nuclear fission. It's all tits up, sir."
Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

-Me: Don't tell the commissar but i left my Imperial Infantrymans Uplifting Primer at home, but I do carry a folded Texas flag behind my front plate.
-Friend: Texas flag gives you AV14 all around.
