Hello

I am musing on making a soul grinder out of excessive daemon prince, but have no spider bot chassis, so I'm thinking on using spare shimerra.

We have examples of tracked walkers in the form of Khorne's Lord of Skulls; but on the other hand it would change soulgrinder's footprint somewhat.

Would you consider it legit?

Rule of cool for me. As long as the footprint isnt bonkers and completely advantagous go for it.

I actually did this as a conversion and I think it looks epic. Everyone I've played with it against has commented on it, but all have been remarks about how cool conversions are in general or it spawns a conversation during the game about other conversions they or I have done. I've never had anyone say or act as if it wasn't 'legit'. I have pics of it pre painting as my "not quite Lord of Skulls" in my gallery

Rule of Cool always applies first and foremost as this is a hobby first and foremost.

Prepare yourselves for the onslaught men. The enemy is waiting, but your Officers are courageous and your bayonettes sharp! I have at my disposal an entire army of Muskokans, tens of thousands of armour and artillery supporting millions upon tens of millions of the Imperium's finest fighting men with courage in their bellies, fire in their hearts and lasguns in their hands. Emperor show mercy to mine enemies, for as sure as the Imperium is vast, I will not!

You could always mount it on a (removable) base the size of a defiler footprint for 'serious' games to avoid arguments.
