I know it gets a little touchy sometimes, but my question is simple and my reason simpler: I want to know if anyone knows where I might be able to find 3d model files for printing some of my more valuable figures. As an example, I have a Tyrannid Hive Tyrant from '87, highly customized, with expert paint. When I got it valued, mid three figures. In case anyone wants to know, it was mostly intact in a bloody bits bin. As much fun as I have with the game, I'd REALLY rather not use the actual model in games outside of my house. My roomate will be careful (he did the work, he's the one that would have to fix it), but I'm not nearly as trusting with strangers. Yeggi has failed me miserably with quality of the few things I COULD find. I mean, you type 40k into the box to try to NARROW the field, you get 500 pages, automatic.

If anyone's offended by this, just remember: A NEW set of troops costs 50-100, depending on what you're getting. Imagine finding a treasure like that, and then having some little pisswanker tell you that you're a terrible person for not wanting to risk your several hundred dollar model, or that you have to drop 85+tax on an "authentic" model. Nyah, nope. Don't bother. GWS has gotten their money from my main troops, but I got some NICE treasures.

Literally no idea what you are asking here, you want someone to 3D scan your model so it can be reproduced?

You know no matter what your reasoning is that this thread will be locked and all comments trying to help you will be removed and possibly receive a warning, and yourself receive a warning for posting it. You know Dakka doesn't tolerate these threads so why bother?
