On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Many thanks for posting the report here, was fun to read.

Have had the rulebook for this game for a while now but haven't had a chance to use it yet. I've heard of some groups going from the FoG to this ruleset as its a fast but fairly representative of warfare during the various ages.

Was thinking of giving it a go with some 15mm Romans/Gauls, do you think it would work well?

On this side of the pond, the FOG people converted enmasse to LADG. But somehow I missed that and went back to Warrior. I only discovered LADG last September, and my first games this month. So my opinion doesn't hold much value but I think that there is no dominate weapons system. So the game is more determined by tactics, and on who rolls the most sixes.
