So, I've got a ton of models and I've noticed that some of them are starting to get a tad bit dusty. How do you guys clean your models?

A clean, soft brush with natural hairs should suffice. I use an old, #10 round (similar in size to GW's tank brush).

well painted, varnished models?

An old toothbrush and a vigorous rub down.

A bit less vigorous on the spikey plastic bits.

I play...

Sigh.

Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...

I've got a large makeup brush that I use to clean of my models when they get dusty. Usually works like a charm and there's little to no risk of damaging the paintjob.

I have my models with a good layer of clear coat on them, so they are pretty tough. I get a tub of Distilled water (so there aren't mineral deposits afterwards) and just grab the infantry models and swish them around in the water.

For tanks and larger models I use a water pick meant to clean your teeth.

I just use a clean paint brush to brush the dust off. Small brush for small minis, big brush for big minis.

I mostly store mine in their cases, so not much dust gets at them. When they do need a dusting, I just use a spare clean paintbrush.

Air Duster.
Cans of compressed air for cleaning your computer keyboard.
Stuff works well and is quick.
For smaller cabinets or the odd single model I use a make up brush.
