I didn't glue the jetpack to the back of the crisis suit. They have a small rod that fits in a tiny hole (ripe for sexual joke, I know, but I'm going to overcome and finish this post) and I put them together without glue. I could move the jetpacks angle freely, "cool" I thought. Until one of them broke off and I realized that when moving them, quite a bit of the plastic rod wasn't rotating and I was just twisting the plastic rod. The other half of the jet pack fell of shortly afterwords, despite me trying to be careful.

So now I am stuck with a tau without its twin jetpacks. There is but one small place where the jetpacks meet the rest of the model (about as much surface area as half a pencil eraser. Despite having a jetpack glued to the main body for a few hours, the moment I even touch the jetpack, it falls. How do I attach the jetpacks to the crisis suit?

Thanks in advance!

Pin it: drill a small hole on both desired spot, cut off a piece of paper clip, insert and glue.

Pin it. You'll need a pin vice / modelling drill, and a bit of paperclip...
