I absolutely love the concept of farsight enclave, where they are constantly said to put higher importance in CC
than regular Tau empire, but I was so sad to found out that I could not find much of evidence of that CC except for
one Fusion blade per army...
So I was thinking, would it be such a bad Idea for GW to give us something like Battlesuits with lesser version of Fusion blade to go with
Commander for CC? The current 'Eight' is far to heavy of flamer, and has nowhere close to having enough CC :(

I want to see the Warscaper drone modeled for them, their new prototype stealth transports mentioned in Warzone: Mont'ka in a throw away line, and some sort of melee unit of battlesuits as you said.

Really, the Onager Gauntlet just needs to be a regular system rather than a signature system, and it should use BS instead WS (it's technically a punchgun, after all). I'm okay with it being a 'vre and up option, though.

There are some old fluff references to Commander Brightsword who had some form of CC weapon as well. There are lots of ways to expand some of the suits into have a minimal CC capability, but considering we are just a touch over the top with shooting (arguably only out done by eldar), I don't know if giving every unit a CC weapon of merit is an answer. Maybe if they put something to limit the models shooting capability if they took a CC weapon it might be a little more balanced.
