I was wondering for my new death korps regiment what colors or color will mix well to give me that color. I have taken a tested some GW paints without mixing them but never got a color similar does anyone know a color that I could be missing or a mixture that will give me that color

If you don't know anybody who is secretly Alpharius or Omegon, you probably are him.

I would say that a mix of Lothern Blue & Altdorf Guard Blue might do the trick

That looks close to Army Painter Wolf Grey.

Here is an example from my WIP:

Same colour name in the Vallejo Game Color range, too. And maybe also old, OOP citadel shadow grey too... so VGC sombre grey? Or Coat D'arms' lupin grey and shadow grey. Or Ral Partha Europe's blue grey, which is between the two. CDA and RPE might be a tad inconvenient for the US, so... Reaper? Look like they have three blue-grey/slate-blue triads, let alone single paints.

I'm sooo, sooo sorry.

This Taurox is painted in Thunderhawk Blue over a basecoat of The Fang.

Looks like a pretty close match to me.

Hard to say due to monitor color, but looks like The Fang.

When I open it in photoshop and take a color sample, the blue on the coats is ~#7285a5. By using the color conversion chart at http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Paint_Range_Compatibility_Chart , I cant see a correct match. Maaaaybbbee do a Caledor Sky:white:black mix of 2:1:1?

If we were talking old GW paints, I would have said Shadow Grey. The helmets maybe Thunderhawk Blue.

There's more grey in them than there is blue, so yeah, probably Shadow Grey. Not sure what that translates to in the current range.

Here is a nice tutorial with GW color list:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrcG5iGk0Fo

- Thunderhawk Blue
- Drakenhof Nightshade
- Russ Grey
- Fenrisian Grey

Horizon blue, like most WWI and WWII uniform colors varied a lot in reality and changed over the course of the war. So you never really have to worry about being super exact.

PS: I'm working a German Style DKOK army

For my DKoK I did the Space wolf sequence. So the fang base, layer russ grey, the a 1:1 drakenhof/medium mixture wash, then dry brush with fenrisian grey.
