Hi guys,

I'm back to 40k after about 10 years away from the game.

I'm wanting to put together an Inquisition force but, there doesn't seem to be an Inquisition codex. Quite simply, which codex contains the information for the Inquisition?

Help appreciated!

There is indeed a Codex: Inquisition but it's only available as an eBook on the GW website

Unfortunately it seems to only exist as a Digital file right now:

https://www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/Codex-Inquisition-eBook-Edition

That contains the rules for all Inquisition units. However, if you want the full experience I would also recommend looking into Militarium Tempestus (Stormtroopers basically), Sisters of Battle/Adepta Sororitas, and the Grey Knights.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.

Inquisition is eBook only, same as sisters of battle. See link below;

Be aware that Inquisition isn't really intended to be un as an army on its own, allies and similar are a massive part of the game now, but you can quite easily run grey knights, sisters, assassins and inquisition together again and recapture the witch hunters feel, though it won't be competative.

Also, a lot has changed in 10 years, definately browse the main rule book a bit as what used to be apoc only is now fairly common in regular games.

Thanks for the input guys.

It looks like I'll have to run as an attachment of Grey Knights with Inquisitor as HQ (warlord?), Ordo Malleus and stay true to my fluff!

Seems there is no 7th edition revision yet, is this true?

It has been updated since 7th since they added Daemonology to the list of psychic disciples psykers can use in the book.

There is a 7th version and it has lots of small but really crucial updates in it. Don't be fooled your army might just stop to work due to some of them since they do interact with lots of popular builds.

Inactive, user. New profile might pop up in a while

Thanks guys, I've downloaded a 6th edition version of the Inquisition codex. Not ready to buy the 7th yet.

I might make a start on some Grey Knights now and throw in the Inquisition along the way.
