Been Around the Block

Hi !
New commission going on here and this one got me really exited as my client asked me to go for a really dirty/rusty looking army which is what I prefer to do.
This what it looked like on the 22nd, February :
The crash test drone :
WIP drones :
Drones !
Stealth suits
So right now :
29 FW
20 Pathefinders
6 Stelath suits
3 battle suits
1 commander in suit
2 broadsides
1 HQ
Done in two weeks.
Still to do
1 riptide
1 stormsturge.
Hope you like it !

Looks great as usual.
How the heck do you paint fully assembled models so easily? Crisis suits and firewarriors are the only ones i can paint relatively easily while theyre fully assembled.

Looks excellent, the only part I'm not a fan of is the green glow on the FWs and Stealth Suits, it looks a bit out of place and jarring. Other than that, fantastic stuff!

Well, these are actually really easy to paint while built but, the Riptide and Stomrsturge are in a lot of un-assembled pieces. I got legs - torso - arms - the big canon of the ss.

I agree for the stealth suits, it's a bit too much in comparaison of what I wanted but my client really likes it so... It's good to me.
About the FW though I tend to totally disagree
This green glow is the only actual color on the model, so, without it, they would look very "empty".

Excellent work on those models - Tau can be hard to get to look great, as they are a bit simple in their aesthetics but you've done a great job here!

Wow, those look amazing - and so fast!
I've always loved gritty Tau, and these have got to be some of my favorite
