Seems that all Renegade Space Marine chapters that I've found reading through Wikis and the such eventually fall to Chaos. Are there any Renegade SM Chapters out there that simply turned away from the emperor but didn't fall to Chaos?

Thanks

SG

There are a few yes, there is a chapter called the Knights of blood, who, while declared renegades, still fight for the imperium's best interests, and there are also the soul drinkers who avoided chaos but still became beset by various mutations bespoke their efforts.

It's a shame that the Soul Drinkers gave their lives to win a battle and therefore the chapter is gone.

In the old Space Wolf fluff, there are great companies that just went their own way, became pirates and raiders, but did not turn to Chaos.

.Only a fool believes there is such a thing as price gouging. Things have value determined by the creator or merchant. If you don't agree with that value, you are free not to purchase.

Never seen much of them but the "Flame Falcons" sure seem to be interesting.

It would be quite easy to make a case for several of the Legions to not actually have "fallen."

Sure, you've got the "big four," Black Legion and the Word Bearers bend over for anything with horns and a pitchfork, but the Night Lords and Iron Warriors especially don't really "worship" Chaos, it's more being chaotic is a consequence of what they do and a legacy of past actions and the Alpha Legion are arguably not chaotic at all...

It all depends on how liberally you apply the term "renegade" too, there's the likes of the Black Dragons who, while ostensibly being loyalist, have deep seated mutations and would certainly be capable of raising a few eyebrows at the Ordo Malleus, and there's another chapter whose name escapes me atm who have been known to actively seek out and use Xeno tech, again, raising a few Inquisitorial eyebrows.

This is really a case of "gaming in the gaps" and it's totally feasible that a chapter like this could exist, but the fluff reality is that the only thing strong enough to turn the head of a fanatical super soldier warrior monk is Chaos, anything outside that is going to be pretty rare.
