Hi guys and gals of Dakka,
Just wondering whether Fall of Orpheus IA is worth getting and if so what is the DKoK army list like e.g. can I take grenadiers as troops? No rules please as don't want to contravene Dakka forum rules.

Page 165 to page 213 is dedicated to krieg. of the 240 paged book.
The majority of the book is Necrons
Troop choices
Death korps infantry platoon
- Command squad
- infantry squad
Death korps grenadier storm squad

Looked it up siege of IA:Siege of Vraks seems to be the most resent one.
So is it worth it no not really unless you are a collector of all things krieg.

The vraks book and ia 12 are completely different armies. So yes you can choose the assault list (ia 12) or the siege list (vraks 2nd edition )

It's very out of date. It was made AFAICT for 5th and 6th edition.
Given that every army has had a new codex since it almost certainly won't match up to what you want to do with DKoK.

As someone who owns the book, I would definitely recommend getting it, it's an amazing read

I do have the Fall of Orpheus as well. It is worth the money if you want to try a different army build featuring DKoK. I recently tried a 1000 pt list tag team with it. It does vary from the siege book. But Grenadiers with storm chimera as a troop choice was fun.
