So, I ordered a new contemptor dreadnought for my Emperor's Children legion, but it was just the BaC one so it's fairly plain. But I want to look like a relic, and from what I've seen from the FW books, for EC that's done by adding tonnes of gold 'squigles'.
I'm sure someone knows what I'm talking about, I've simply forgotten the proper name.
So, I was wondering, if anyone could give me the name for the design. But also could anyone drop some example pictures? Apart from the FW books, as generally, they aren't too good.
Thanks in advance

Mostly they use the III in a golden wreath, and the Phoenix wing and talon.
I can photograph the decal set if you like.

I've seen pictures of the regular iconography, I think I can free hand the roman 3, but not the other stuff. I was more talking the singular lines like on the Phoenix terminators or Palentine blades.

I'm also doing EC, and this gave me a great idea.
Check out nail decals, I've only had a quick look and there's a bunch of gold filigree stuff that would be ideal.
I'm allergic to freehand, but, applied properly, there's plenty of options.

If you want to be extremely pedantic about the fluffiness and look, remember that the EC were the only Legion permitted to wear the Aquila of the Emperor, and being massive show offs, would do so at every opportunity, so you might consider, at the very least, an Aquila transfer on the chest or even etched brass.

As for the aquila, already got that sorted. An etched brass from the citadel basing kit and a plastic part from a Rhino.
