I'm trying to convert a DnD model that I had into a DP of Khorne for a diorama and I'm having some trouble finding suitable wings for it. The model is an Iron Golem (see Below)
I tried using "demonic" looking wings and It just didn't seem to fit with the aesthetic of this hulking mass of iron and brass. I was thinking of maybe something more mechanical looking or made out of discarded and broken weapons, but all the examples I look up and see don't seem to fit with this model. I'd appreciate any ideas!

What if you just planted some jet booster type things on the back of his shoulders?
As for mechanical wings, perhaps heldrake bits could help you out?

I agree with AS, that guy would look much better with thrusters than wings.

I tried using the boosters from a storm raven and it didn't really fit with it. I like the Heldrake idea though! I'll print out a template of the wings when I get home to see how they fit on.
Thanks!

I'll try a different kind of thruster than the Stormraven's. Any suggestions?

Perhaps some space marine jet pack ends glued together in a circular pattern to make a larger booster?
Land speeder jet ends? Any skimmer or flyer is going to have them in varying styles really aside from the daemon chariot of tzeentch.
The daemon prince kit has some booster limb things that you could paint metallic, but they have muscle tone so I doubt you would want that.

Have you got a pic with another model, like a space marine, to give a sense of scale? Might be able to give some suggestions but not sure how big he is.

Try the Stormtalon jets, they are seperate components to the main kit so they have more room for positioning
