Hopefully getting Operation Ice Storm box with a mate who wants to collect Pan Oceania, so we're splitting the box set. We have a couple of people interested (deffo Yu Jing and PanO, maybe others if we can get them interested in it).

I was wondering where to go from Ice Storm. Our points limit would be 150, as we are just beginning to get into the game and we've agreed on no TAGs for the time being.

I was thinking the support box and an Interventor? Or would anything else be better to round out the starter set?

It's hard to make a bad Nomad list due to the options and powerful profiles they have. I wouldn't invest into Interventor at 150 points, but they are the best human hackers for a reason and you will get value out of them once you start playing on more points.

I'd advise to go with Intruder/HMG and support box. Alguacil heavy box also wouldn't be that bad of a thought and Jaguars would be simply evil, particularly if you wanted to combo them with Intruder.

I second an intruder. I like the Sniper profile, but either sniper or HMG is great.

After that you need some kind of smoke. I would recommend a box of jaguars or morlocks. (I like morlocks, but due to extremely impetuous they require a bit more finesse)

Are you playing Vanilla Nomads or Corregidor?

Probably Vanilla for the time being, I'll worry about Corregidor/Bakunin when I'm a bit more experienced in the game.

Don't forget to pick up a pack of Zonds, too. You'll rarely play a game without at least a Reaktion Zond on the field.

Or get some Lunokhods and the Nomad Support Pack there'll be aways a need for Daks and Engineers

Just checked with my opponents and we are allowing proxies for the time being as we are all new and don't know how to optimize lists.

So I was thinking use the models from the box and buy an Intruder and Lunokhod/Reaktion Zond to have this list for 200 points?

You may want to allow proxies pretty much forever. WYSWYG is not really a *thing* for Infinity, although it is becoming a thing for ITS tournaments ( or supposedly so). Most players will proxy. Just be reasonable about it.

Play the list and see if it works for you. Not knowing what you are playing ( YAMS, ITS, 20x20, etc) or how you like to play, it is not possible to offer much advice for your list. That said, what you posted looks good for most play.

Depends on your meta. Smoke/msv and camouflage heavy games will mean getting limited value out of them.
