Hauled Gun Carriage:...If the Chaos Dwarves War Machine begins the movement phase within 3" of an Iron Daemon War Engine or a Skullcracker War Engine, it may be hauled along behind the engine as it moves, rather than the Chaos Dwarves War Machine moving itself this turn. At the end of the movement phase, simply place the gun carriage behind the engine that pulled it, and so that it is more than 3" away from any enemy models.

Where does the the war machine end up? Can I put it anywhere behind the War Engine the same distance away it was before or does it have to be touching in a line? Furthermore, could one War Engine pull more than one war machine as long as they both begin their movement within 3"? Important to know because the war machines only have about 3" of movement and the War Engines get 2d6".

I believe RAI they have to be placed within 3" at the end of the move. And yes, you could pull more than one.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
