So since I love custom chapters on 40k, space marines, orks, whatever. If decided to see what you guys have seen out their, wether they had a cool paint job, fluff, or just a well organized army, as long as it was custom, tell us! And if it was memorable for less respectful reasons, tell us about that too! It can be something you've played against, just seen it was told about, or something you read online. Let's share some stories!

I can't remember what he called them, but a regular at the Nottingham store uses pinks, purples and yellows as base colours, then free hands amazing bubble gum anime characters on the panels. Whilst not my taste, he is very talented and it's great to see something so personalized.

Well I'm not sure if this quite counts as custom, but a mate of mine who plays Ultramarines painted (in detail) the interiors of all the vehicles he's painted or painting currently. They look bloody awesome!

Also, another mate is painting one glove/gauntlet white on their Orks after we joked about fluff for a Michael Jackson themed WAAAGGHH! haha

I honestly beg to differ.

The best, here on Dakka a guy did a WH Fantasy Saurus space marine army. It is total 80s metal epicness.

On B&C a guy did a WH Fantasy Beastmen Khorne army and it's amazing.

I remember this chapter called the New Order, or something like that. Best chapter ever.

I'll let ya'll decide if they are the best or worst.

This is amazing, love the power armor ork. And on the subject of orks, I once played a game against on ork player whose waaghs found an old pre imperium AI and believing it to be the voice of mork, began replacing body parts with cybernetics on its command, allowing it to take possession of the ork's bodies.

The Galactic Partridges.

There was a guy who went too my local store for a while. He had, Grey Knights, Eldar, Chaos Marines (nurgle), Blood Angels and Imperial Guard (Vostroyans).

He made this crazy idea that all of these forces were working together under one inquisitor or something. It made no sense, it flew in the face of lore, etc.

If they were all separate it would have worked fine. But all those factions working together under 1 banner? That and he tried (and failed) to build like I do (scratch build, convert, etc).

He was a good kid, very nice. But unfortunately he didn't take losing easily and didn't seem to know any sort of lore. I can't recall what he refered to his... ragtag group as.

But I do remember it having "Chapter" in it.
