Do hellstorm templates have a "torrent" type rule? I didnt think so however the group that runs the local gaming club swore to me up and down it did. Am I missing something? I've checked the brb and couldn't find it.

Specifically a malcador imfernus with chem ammo. I'm not seeing it.

The Malcador Infernus has the Torrent (18") special rule, as well as the Hellstorm weapon type.

Hellstorm does not inherently have torrent.

Thank you. This is what I am apparently missing. I had never faced a Malcador before, and I shamefully admit I am not familiar with all every single one of the FW Super heavies.

This why you simply ask to see the rules for any unfamiliar units. It's unreasonable to expect everyone to know all of the various rules and units that make up this game. The full rule set is well over 1,500 USD at this point. If they don't have the rules on them, call BS and roll off. That's our normal rule for when people forget their rules.
