Yep, because I can never finish anything before starting something else, this is starting to happen...

All currently held together by 13 pins...

A few more pics in my Warlord gallery. I'll occasionally update this blog with progress, honest...

Thanks Ruglud - a case of more of the same, colour-wise. Just the sizes increase!

Yes, impressive chunks of resin indeed Wolf. Will keep me going for a while haha

So it was my last day of Easter freedom before heading back to work tomorrow :(
Therefore I've been making the most of it and making some further progress on the Warlord:

a wee bit more progress on the heads paintwork:

and some more on the body build - I'm sure I'm probably the only person who's tried to build one of these things without using glue... All pins, so far at least!

So many projects, so little chance of finishing any of them...

(And yes, I do realise that one of the warlord shoulder plates is on the wrong shoulder!)

Been looking forward to watching someone assembly and paint one of these monsters, and It looks like your off to a great start.

Just out of Curiosity, how many individual pieces are there in this kit? You can say "a lot" if you don't feel like counting them all .

You don't do 'small' projects do you? lol

The head looks awesome.

Have you done a tutorial on that marbling effect already?

Did a quick tot up and the body alone (no head or weapons) is just under 200 - although thankfully pretty much all pretty big parts, not dozens of Pistons like with the Reaver or worse still, Warhound...

Hope you're in for the long haul then, on the basis of how quickly(!) anything else I do progresses...

Nope, I like to work on larger scale "mini's" - and then take ages painting really teeny tiny details on them!
I did a marble tutorial on the 'eavier metal FB forum a while back, but when I have some more time I'll post it on here if there's enough interest. Speaking of which, I thought I'd share this pic for comparison ( the ascent of Titans?) as I've never seen one quite like it - hopefully puts to rest some of those saying the Warlord isn't big enough!
