Hi guys. Long time collector of 40k minis but never an active player. This MUST change. I got myself a Battle of Calth set and I would like to make it a balanced set and not over power one side or the other so does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the armies fair?

It's pretty hard to make a broken army in 30k so long as you stick to a theme (no spamming spartans+ fire raptors+ Sicarians )

Beyond that, if you only have a single calth set, pick up another one and built at least 2 20-man tactical squads and use the other 20 models however you please. a 10-man termiantor squad + 2 contemptors is nice as well. Beyond basic stuff we would need to know what legion you wanted to play.

are you running them that way as that's what is shown on the box, or because you like the 2 of them? I only ask because I would NOT assemble them as it's shown for the board game as it's not as effective as you would think on the table top. It's important to remember that 30k doesn't seem to play nice with the MSU ideals.
