What model have you painted is your favorite?

It could be a guardsman to a demon prince, but which one are you most proud of?

I'd have to say it's either my warboss or my one trukk named "Da Jumpa" because I strapped some rockets to it and put a sort of engine cover over it using bits from the bommer kit. Granted, both were a chore to paint since the warboss is finecast and the trukk is, well, a vehicle, but I really enjoyed kitbashing the both of them. Honestly, kitbashing is one of my favorite things to do with orks.

But the base models I enjoy painting the most are probably meganobz. You get a good mix of general brushwork and finer detail work after. Plus, their box comes with a ton of ways to customize them.

"The undead ogre believes the sack of pies is your parrot, and proceeds to eat them. The pies explode, and so does his head. The way is clear." - Me, DMing what was supposed to be a serious Pathfinder campaign.

Erebus. Awesome sculpt and a fantastically evil douche in the books.

Shred City.

I had the most fun painting my IG Sentinel when I did it a few months back.

Fairly easy to do the overall metallic work, shading, highlighting, etc. Then there was some good detail work on the weaponry/electronics/wiring, etc.

Lizardmen heroes tend to be very fun to do because they have a good variety of detail including bare skin, trinkets, feathers, fur, stones, slimy critters, and so on.

I could sit here and name models from every army, I just love so many models.

Probably one of the Deathwatch marines I just did. For some reason I LOVE painting black now, but I don't want to start another army yet

Well I'm not finished yet, so I hope I'm not jinxing myself, but so far the Imperial Knight has been my favorite to paint. Though I'm not sure if I'll be 'most proud' of it.
