What is the fire arc of a Doom Scythe? From the way it's modelled, I'm assuming a 45° angle both horizontally and vertically, but it could equally be 90°, or 180°, or from the looks of it it's almost a turret, so it could be 360°. I REALLY wish I'd remembered that I wanted to know this when they were taking FAQ suggestions.

Look at how the cables are mounted. It doesn't look like it could move very far at all without tripping up cables. From a rules standpoint, you're likely stuck with the standard 45 degrees thing. I'd talk to your opponent though as most people don't seem to play with the 45 degree vertical arc.

Pretty sure if it doesn't state "turret mounted" or "sponson mounted" it is assumed to be hull mounted, thus only having a 45 degree firing arc.

No such rule exists. THe rules actually tell you to look at how the model is designed.
Here there is no way its 360, as the cable attachments just dont permit the gun to rotate al that far.

It doesn't have to state it so long as the model itself can provide such movement in question. And I don't think the Scythes can spin their guns any more than the Obelisk/Vault Orbs or the front gun of a Leman Russ. I don't have the model yet, and I have heard people describe it as immovable.

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?

Definitely can't be moved. It's a fixed mount weapon with no obvious "fluff" ways to move. The 45 degree firing arc is appropriate for this hull mounted weapon.
