Subject: VideoGame recommendation: Call of Duty style shooter?

Loved CoD Modern Warfare 2. It was tons of fun. I didn't like 3, mostly because the maps were not fun. But anyway....
The online, XBox 360 Live game seems to have devolved into a bunch of either Canadian cheaters, or one shot snipers ( or both), and I mean that in all seriousness.
Can anyone recommend an online shooter where you can just run around with a machine gun, assault gun, submachine gun and blast away at people, without the one shot quick kills with sniper rifles?????
Thanks!

If it looks like something you might enjoy, Titanfall is great although I'm not sure how big the playerbase is on the 360 though.
Anything Battlefield is great as well.

Another vote for Battlefield 4, just know that at this point everyone left playing the game is a seasoned veteran so you will be at a disadvantage in that way

Doom.
The only massive difference in pvp is that instead of killstreaks there's a deamon spawn on the map. Whoever picks it up gets to be the deamon, kill thr deamon you get to be the deamon.
Has CTF, domination etc.
You can just run around with a machine gun and rocket launcher shooting away and don't ever reload.
Forget Battlefront, it has little playability without it's expensive dlcs. Halo 5 isn't too special either. Destiny, no pvp content.
Try Battlefield first, though not played it myself but loved MW1/2. Automatically Appended Next Post: Sorry, if only on xbox 360 try Halo Reach or 3. While they aren't very "run and gun" friendly. big team battle is fun when cruising about in vehicles with passengers shooting away and doing jumps.

blacklight retribution. F2P and insane customisation. Plus, it has a unique mechanic that counteracts camping snipers!

If you want single player, I'd try the Borderlands games. Little bit of rpg elements as well.

BF4 vote here too. Although note, bf4 is different to cod, its much less CQB (although maps do cater for that).
However you're just as likely to end up in a big tank/air/sea battle as pewpewing up close.
it also has much more diverse game modes, some of which are good, some of which arent.
Depends on what you want really.
Also planetside 2 was pretty fun but more futuristic and even bigger tank/air battles ensue.
