A low points WScar list with only 1 bike squad.....but I think it's mobile and should work well? Obviously the Librarian rides with the bikes, any comments/improvements?

Since I think you've met your troops requirement with the bikes and one scout squad, run the second Storm and the speeder as a Stormbringer Squadron. +1 jink on the Storm and the scouts can disembark after a 12" move.

One advantage of the CAD is that the LSS’s are ObSec. I think it might be worth trading for the other bonuses, but you do give up something for it.

Overall looks like a flluffy, fun, reasonably well balanced list.

Its a 500 point list and you're highly mobile. I think in this case, +1 to jink trumps ob sec on your transports. Its better to keep them alive and shooting than dead because you decided to park them on an objective

My stretch goal to 750 points keeps things very similar but I worry about the lightweight HQ.....

Obviously no anti-air yet.....and i'm not sure if the Hunter's eye beats comi-melta x2 on my scout squads --- cos that would give each unit the MMelta from the storm + a Melta shot....

With that much grav, I think the MMs on the storms should be enough to deal with any heavy armor. The eye lets you deal with cover, which can be a big deal.

As you go up in points you should try to find a few for the ML2 on the librarian.

If you are worried about AA, look into picking up a stormtalon. I fly mine with the skyhammers. Scrappy little bird. And from a fluff POV, fast enough to keep pace with the rest of your force (as opposed to the AA tanks or fortifications)

@Bigcheese86: I personally agree that the boost to the jink save (plus the other bonuses) are worth the loss of ObSec on the speeders. But if you play a lot of maelstrom games ObSec fast skimmers can score all over the table. So it’s something to keep in mind.
