Feel free to add suggestions and note, I have deliberately left out the mighty Thunderhawk as I feel he'll run away with it.....(and no FW Im afraid).

Came to vote Thunderhawk, left disappointed.

Flyers in general are tacked on newbies to the scene, so it’s hard to pick one as “iconic” I don’t think any of the choices listed have the chops to claim that title.

I voted for Valks, as they at least have some seniority.

I voted for Stormraven, not even thinking about the Valkyrie as I don't play Guard that often. I wanna change my answer...

when I think of flyers, I usually tend to think of the vendetta/Valkyrie. I mean they are some of the largest (outside of forgeworld) and seem to be a strong staple in the Guard army.

I vote thunderhawk. Option or not. I've been drooling over it since I first saw it on the back cover of the 3rd ed SM codex.

Voted Nightscythe myself, something very evocative about it and fits in superbly with the Cron aesthetic imo.
Crimson Hunter would be a close second though in terms of aesthetics.

I almost had picked the Valkyrie, but I recall when the Stormraven first was seen, back when only a few races even had flyers it caused such an uproar, both good and bad. Based on that, it was my choice.

Another vote for the Thunderhawk gunship. It's always been the most iconic flyer for me, from a time before flyers were even a thing really.

You might just want to re-title the thread to “Second most iconic flyer, after the Thunderhawk”
