Khorne Bloodbound Warband in a Path to Glory Campaign fights vs. Stormcast and Teclis in the Monolith Scenario.

Khorne Warband Building the Monolith, Baudwolf's Molten Rampage
BAUDWULF THE SOUL SHRIVER, Mighty Lord of Khorne, -1 to enemy bravery within 3", +1 to unbind spells, +2 attacks
SKULLBREAKER, skull grinder
SCYON, slaughter priest
LUCDREK, exalted death dealer, ruinous axe, skull gouger
Bloodsecrator
Bloodstoker
1 Khorgorath
BARGGAN'S BLOODFORGED, 10 blood warriors, icon, gorefists, champion with goreglaive
BLOODROAR TRIBE, 20 blood reavers, reaver blades, icon, chieftain, hornblower
5 Chaos Knights
(Bloodmarked Warband formation)

Stormcast and Teclis
Teclis
Lord Celessent on Dracoth
2 Lord Relictors
Lord Castlent with Gryph Hound
1 Knight Venator
2 units of Liberators (7, 5)
1 unit of 9 Retributors
1 unit of 6 Prosecutors
(thunderstrike brotherhood)

Scenario: The Monolith. Victory for monolith builders depends on dice rolls (need 5+ models within 3" to advance the ritual). Victory for desecrators depends on getting troops near the monolith and rolling well during desecrator hero phase (with a chance to end the game).

Deployment: 4' by 4' playing area, Monolith along one board edge. Defending heroes and Khorgorath deployed within 3" of the Monolith (accidentally didn't have 10+ models within 3" and lost a +1 on the first turn), cavalry and blood reavers to left of monolith. blood warriors to right of monolith. Attackers deployed 6" away from board midpoint (6" from defender deployment territory), except for retributors which were in reserve.

Turn 1: Khorne warband building the monolith went first. Forces didn't move. Bloodsecrator caused blood red rain through the portal of skulls. d6+1 = 6 progress on the monolith this turn (20 needed for victory).

Turn 1: Teclis cast Tempest on my chaos knights. Desecrators advanced (everybody ran except for Prosecutors). Retributors used lightning deployment to be over 9" away from the troops protecting the monolith. Prosecutors did four wounds to the Bloodsecrator with missile fire. Retributors rolled a 9 for their charge and charged into the blood reavers. Retributors killed 19 blood reavers (leaving the champion alive). Khorgorath and several heroes and the chaos knights piled into the Retributors. 8 Retributors slain, last one ran away.

Turn 2: Khorne warband building the monolith went first (progress +2 to 8). Slaughter Priest prays and does 3 wounds to himself (roll a 1, as per usual). Blood Warriors charged into the Prosecutors. No other movement, except moved knights and heroes back towards the monolith after piling in forward in the previous fight against the retributors. Blood warriors did 2 wounds to the knight venator and killed a prosecutor or two. Prosecutors killed a warrior or two.

Turn 2: Desecrators: The Stormcast continued to advance. Teclis cast his tempest on my chaos knights again. The Knight venator used his special arrow against the Khorgorath, inflicting 5 wounds. A unit of 5 liberators charged into the group of heroes in front of the monolith. The liberators slew the blood secrator. The liberators were slain by the heroes in front of the monolith. The prosecutors and blood warriors grinded each other down.

Turn 3: Roll for initiative. Desecrators win initiative and decide to move first. Game called during turn 3 on account of time (it has been over two hours). It is roughly a tie (both sides have taken roughly 45 wounds, 18/34 stormcast slain, 27/42 khorne slain)

Chaos rewards are handed out. Baudwulf gained Red Rampage, +1 to hit if outnumbered by enemies within 3". I added a unit of 12 chaos warriors to the chaos warband.

I like your hero & unit names, just the right amount of cheesiness for my tastes! And I particularly like the part of the battle where the retributors kill a throw-away 'reaver unit then get wiped for their trouble.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Thanks for the comments.

I'm thinking about giving Scyon the Slaughter Priest the title of "Scyon the Blood Splattered". Most of the blood is usually his own.
