Looks awesome in terms of execution. Is it immediately recognizable as EC on its own? Maybe not, though that may change in context sitting beside the rest of the army. If this was stand-alone I might suggest that you need to get a bit more EC purple and iconography to emphasize the faction membership, this is simply a consequence of having more white than purple in this case.
Again, not to say that it doesn't look great!

I think its recognizable. I think its fine, if anything there's a little too much white compared to purple in the fade but really its good.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers. |

The sicaran's weathering is sublime. The streaks of rust are fantastic. Like the scheme, like those above said though - maybe a touch more purple would bring me back to the III legion quicker.

I think if you viewed or played in 30k context, there is only one legion that would have had something like that.

These are really well-executed, but they don't look very "Emperor's Children" to be.* It's not the white, as much as the EC is normally associated with purple and gold, and the gold on these is very scarce. I normally also associate the EC with a very ornate appearance, and these have large expanses of color gradient (really well painted, though). Finally, while the weathering looks very good and realistic, I normally don't associate the EC with rust, weathering, or dirt.
*Actually, I don't think that's precisely the situation. I think that while these are much better painted than many EC tanks, they don't look as distinctively EC as a lot of less-well painted models do.

The only purple guys in 30k are the EC

Yup these are awesome. Get a very late heresy feel for them, when the EC aren't the unified force they were and are very much on the path of Chaos - I imagine bright colours and alternate schemes would creep in.

I love the white-purple tentacle color scheme on your EC! It works really well with them, but I feel there should be more gold.
