I am trying to find a retailer, GW or Other, who sells Avenger Gattling Cannon bitz or something that could stand in for one to use on my 2 knights, I would need 4 total. It would also be nice if a shield/arm attachment also came with it, although I might be able to scratch build something to attach the weapon to myself.

I think you'll definitely need a third party alternative or a scratch-build, as the Avenger Gatling Cannon is pretty popular, if you just look on eBay you can see them going for way more than they're worth considering the difference in the two knight kits is £10. If only GW had released it as a £10 sprue it would sell like crazy. With the Renegade knight able to take two it's only going to be even harder to get on its own, plus I fully expect the loyalist knights will get the option as well at some point (because seriously, it's only a matter of time before loyalists get something).


Probably not too hard to scratch-build, since all you really need is six pieces of plastic or brass tubing, plus a seventh thicker part down the centre to hold it together. The rest is detailing, and the choice of how you want to mount it; if you're looking for an arm for it to go with then any gun arm should do I think, as long as you're not fussy about having exactly the right shield. Spares of the other types ought to be a lot easier to get a hold of.

yeah you can proably convert the mount for the battle cannon into a gatling gun easily eneugh

Do note that you don't get an extra shoulder/upper arm with the AGC so you'll be VERY unlikely to find those.

The ebay ones are going for $40+ USD.
If you are looking to build 4 of them, scratch building may be the better way to go...

Edit : They now look to be going for around $50 each USD :\
Pretty soon it will be cheaper to buy another knight.

I am seeing if anyone over on the shapeways forum can help design one, otherwise I will for sure build my own, I cannot afford 50 per bit haha

see if you can grab spare rapid fire battle cannons and Hades Autocannons from Forgefiends. replace the battle cannon barrel with the hades autocannons and it should look close enough.

At least that way the two arms would match up.

man, I'm almost tempted to buy a knight, make a paladin and sell the gatling gun with that

I guess supply and demand has gone a bit wacky. Someone who buys the Renegade box might want four gatlings to arm each knight with two, but only have one.

Yep.

It's just in WoW when a new reagent has come out and everyone is wanting to buy it.

In a few months it will drop back down in price.

Even the standard transfer sheet that normally comes in the Knight kits was going for $25 last night. Hell, I'll just design my own for that price!

Of course GW didn't release it as an individual sprue, nobody would buy the Warden kit if that were the case.

Are you sure that it was the standard sheet? Remember that there was a second sheet that was only available for a short time at launch.

Not yet, trying to get my hands on spare Hades Autocannons myself (because I don't wanna shell out for a whole Forgefiend just for the gun)
