Hello again Today I'll show You my small Imperial Guard/AM army "Cohorta Polis" from planet of Volos in Segmentum Obscurus.
Those guys serve as a part of planetary police, supporting Adeptus Arbites units. Cohorta Polis pertains to police copanies in ancient Rome.
Generally they fight with gangs and riots, sometimes imperial governor sends them to other planets of Volos System to protect colonies...
In case of war CP could be used as auxiliary units of Planetary Defence Force (the fight quite well agaist Orks ).

It's nice to see some IG that aren't all about the tanks. the variety in the infantry is really cool. Paint work is decent and I like the contrast between the models and their bases.

The vehicles you do have are excellently done, easy to see the very crisp highlights.

I've never actually seen something like this before. Now I really love it!

I really like what you've done, you're army has a great theme and you've executed it very well.

One of the big criticisms of guard as an army has been that to make a meaningful army you've not got much choice beyond cadians. But I think with a few head swaps and conversions here and there, and an original paint scheme, the cadian models are actually very versatile. So I always love seeing an original guard army like this.

I love the models, but you HAVE to find a different way of abbreviating the name of this army other than CP.

Cool AM army. It reminds me of some old school IG armies, but utilizing the newer GW range. Clean work all around. Thanks for sharing.

This is a really great IG theme! Like everyone else has pointed out, the taurox looks particularly great with the added front wheels.

Wow, these are nice models. I especially like the rubber pads on the Leman Russ. A subtle but sensible touch since this vehicle is supposed to operate on pavement.

Nice to see that somebody noticed it I served in the Army in mechanised infantry few years ago, and those rubber pads were also on our IFV's tracks
