I have been a longtime lurker, but have finally made the plunge into participating on this great website. LotR SBG is what pulled me into the hobby (I started with The Two Towers) while I was in middle school, and the Black Templars grabbed me soon afterward. I left the hobby quite a few years ago because of heavy course work. However, due to some health issues which are preventing me from attending school, I have decided to jump back into the hobby. I'm hoping that this will help me defend my sanity against boredom!

Then suddenly I saw it. With only a slight churning to mark its rise to the surface, the thing slid into view above the dark waters. Vast, Polyphemus-like, and loathsome, it darted like a stupendous monster of nightmares to the monolith, about which it flung its gigantic scaly arms, the while it bowed its hideous head and gave vent to certain measured sounds. I think I went mad then.
