Pestilent Plague Marine with Blight Grenade

I have never converted, I just buy the models, assemble, and paint. I want to put together the new Black Legion Sorcerer formation, but You can't buy Sorcerers on bikes. So I was wondering if there are any tricks to putting sorcerers on bikes. The clampacks of Sorcerers seem to be not the norm, so I didn't see just an upper torso to put on the new bike. Anyone know any write ups, or tips to making this happen. Or would it be acceptable to just take normal bikes, stick on a staff like object and call it good?

I'm looking at doing the same thing. My thoughts right now are using the biker parts mostly, replacing head with something more sorc-looking, like thousand sons heads or even using the head from the AOS chaos sorcerer. I'm still thinking exactly how I'd like to do it and what I'd like to use, but I also want to try to put a staff on one, either the AOS sorc staff or the Chaos lord staff.

Usually the easiest thing to do is to just use some extra bitz and get creative with a biker model. Many players just cu the legs off a Sorcerer and use the biker legs.
I have been debating getting some bikers for a KDK Gorepack and adding the Sorcerers to them using this kit:
https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Chaos-Knights-2016
I would be adding them to my Daemons, so having a few random CSMs mixed in doesn't appeal to me, but having a few "Knights" count as CSM might blend in better

DV Ravenwing bikers should be a cheap start to your formation. Then from the waist up if you covert them to look like Sorcerers. Robes, staffs, books, etc. will all help.

a simple way, basically just a kitbash, could be to use a chaos biker bike and legs, maybe even the torso, and then use the "tzeentch champion" head (looks "sorceror-y"), and the icon bearer arm from the CSM box...though you'd probably want to shorten the staff a fair bit, stick a skull on the end or something...that'd probably do it well enough

Much like with loyal librarians, books are your friend. Stick them everywhere, and if they have tentacles coming out them then that's even better. Sorcerers generally have staffs as well, so try to find something like that. Or use some basic greenstuff to corrupt a loyalist force weapon. Bare heads with glowing eyes tend to help a bunch too.

Combining robed DA bike kits with a Fantasy Chaos Knights kit would work well.

see if you can bum some bitz off of someone who bought a burning chariot and combine them with a box of CSM bikers. The burning Chariot kit has a crapton of books, scrolls and weird magick thingies that would be great for "sorcering" up a biker into a sorceror.
Also, if you wanna go the extra mile, a lot of the Chosen models from DV have things that could be used as force weapons (the axe guy and the chosen champion comes to mind). Just hack them off at the waist and glue it to a pair of biker legs.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Kit bashing is your friend here. The CSM Tzeentch champion head is pretty much screams sorcerer, The armor plates with faces and symbols on them from Chaos rhinos make good tome covers. You just need a bike body and some green stuff and patience to make some cool conversions. I actually used an ork war track as the bike base for my Sorcerer on a bike since it was a bigger base to work off of. I just green stuffed a whole warp flame enveloping the back end to cover the lack of a back wheel. Took an extra head and hand out of my daemon prince box and added them to the flame to represent a spell familiar. Honestly, i don't think robes look good on bikes, something about flapping fabric and lots of moving parts just doesn't mesh well in my mind.
Below are some of my WIP pictures of my Bike sorcerer with a spell familiar, Force Axe, and the burning brand. I'll post the final product later when I'm no longer at work. All I have in my drop box atm are the WIP pictures.

"Because we couldn't be trusted. The Emperor needed a weapon that would never obey its own desires before those of the Imperium. He needed a weapon that would never bite the hand that feeds. The World Eaters were not that weapon. We've all drawn blades purely for the sake of shedding blood, and we've all felt the exultation of winning a war that never even needed to happen. We are not the tame, reliable pets that the Emperor wanted. The Wolves obey, when we would not. The Wolves can be trusted, when we never could. They have discipline we lack, because their passions are not aflame with the Butcher's Nails buzzing in the back of their skulls.
The Wolves will always come to the heel when called. In that regard, it is a mystery why they name themselves wolves. They are tame, collared by the Emperor, obeying his every whim. But a wolf doesn't behave that way. Only a dog does.
That is why we are the Eaters of Worlds, and the War Hounds no longer."
