Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I've been out of the hobby for quite a while, and since moving, don't have any of my old tools. What tools (clippers, files, knife etc) would people reccomend, and where is the best place to pick things up, ideally cheaply.

Cheers in advance.

Cheap and cheerful, try tool station over here.

Tools wise:

Stanley knife or cheap version.
Small jewellers saw.
Plastic and metal side cutters.
Plastic and metal files.

Can get it all from there mate and its nice and cheap.
There are tool stations everywhere.

I'd avoid places dedicated to hobbies as they tax it stupidly because they know it's needed.

Also avoid screwfix, B&Q, home base etc as they also charge more than most.
