Hi all. This is the first mini in a mantis warrior competition that I've entered and have just finished. He's on a placeholder base because he'll be going on an actual diorama that io haven't constructed yet. His challenger is the next step in the diorama and I haven't settled on who or what that will be. Hope you all enjoy this mini he was fun to paint! Have a click, the pic is very large so it appears slightly blurry in the embed...Thanks<3

Very nice work. For the diorama it appears is if your MW is sizing up an opponent, so perhaps something like this?

I seen it on another site, but in black and white. When I seen the MW I thought that he was perfectly suited to face off against a relentless opponent and tried to find it on Google Image search.

@ Dreadclaw, yes that's the vibe I was going for I'm currently building a suitable monster but if I'm not happy with the final results I might go the route of a chaos termi and end it there...
