I'm really not a fan of the stock Khorgorath. The head piece and tentacles put me off a lot, so I decided to change what I didn't like! I decided that I really liked the way his left shoulder had the tentacle retracted, so I did that on his right arm/shoulder and then I trimmed his head piece down, took off the big horns and reset them into a position I liked. I really wish I had a better quality camera for you guys, but this is what I've got.

While I like Ol' Khorgi now, I don't think I'll be picking up any more of his models any time soon. And if I do it will only be two more off of ebay to run a three man unit with the other two being the stock model and this one being my unit "Alpha Khorgi."

What do you guys think? Kind of reminds me of Diablo 2's Diablo model.

Sweet, like it a lot better than the original.

I used the stock head, sniped the top portion off (the two tiny pillars above the skull), snipped the two tassels off the sides, sanded everything smooth with a 2400 micro fiber pad, snipped the two biggest horns off of the top portion of the head unit, sanded/filed them to fit against the sides of the head unit and behind the small gap behind the jaws. Then I polished it all off with a 4000 micro fiber pad to keep some of the texture but get rid off the major stragglers.

I probably should have put this in the painting/modeling sub-forum. Didn't even notice it was there. My bad!

I am sorry, I don't understand "stock head". The head I remember is tiny with no horns. That is why I asked where you got the head.

Yeah, sorry if I wasn't clear. It is in fact the head that comes with the model. The head unit that came with it consisted of a bottom jaw portion, the little human skull, then a pretty lavish piece of head flair that includes some horns.

I kept the jaw and skull the same, removed the rest, then used the two top most horns as the horns you see in the conversion. I'll see If I can't get higher quality picture of it today.
