Hi folks,

Working on a Dwarf army for AoS and it looks like I'll be getting this one second hand:

I have a question that the seller doesn't have the answer for because he's unfamiliar with dwarfs. I was wondering if anyone knew if the Longbeards that came in this big box could be made into Hammerers or not. Also wondering if anyone knew what a box set like this is called and if all the units have all the options they would have had if purchased individually.

Do what you love and love what you do. Like sell firewood.

First off, nice find! That is a very oop bundle!

Each unit will have all the options they would normally, but in this box the "Longbeards" are still an alternate build of the Warrior kit (this bundle box is over a decade old). So they cannot be made into hammerers, since they are not the current Longbeard/Hammerer Dual Kit.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

This box brings back some memories all right! Picked one up for a fraction of retail back when GW would auction off old kits that were collecting dust in stores. I believe it was the Dwarf Battallion, maybe Battle Force. The big boxes have had so many different iterations it's hard to keep track.

As mentioned, the longbeards in this kit predate the Hammerer/Long beard kit. The Organ Gun and Cannon are a dual kit, with both options included, same with Quarrelers/thunderers and, as mentioned, Warriors/Longbeards.
