Hi all.

Currently looking for some small wings that scale fine to kroot.
I've looked at gargoyle and scourge wings and both seem far too big to me.

Not bothered on the material they are made from or who sells them.
Just want a set that look natural and the right size.

Check out my conversion in my tau gallery, I just use mostly scourge and added kroot arms, modeled on kroot chicken butt with green stuff.

They don't seem too bad for size, but I want to try and keep as much of the regular kroot as possible.

Want to add a unit of kroot vultures to my merc kroot force.

While I know they aren't and never will be a playable army, I still want to keep expanding on them.

I don't know how the scale matches sorry but I do know I've seen packs of add on wings on Reaper's site; maybe check some of those out?

or maybe find a bones figure to cut the wings off, might be cheaper in the long run if you're doing quite a few.

Funny enough I've just had a look at the bones collection and someone has the angel for £2, which has a nice sized set of feathered wings on it.

Ordered 1 to test, then if all good I'll get 19 more.

Reaper has those wings available as separates, too.

Boneyard is where the separate pieces can be found.

Sadly the boneyard is down for a while.

They're trying to overhaul the system for dealing with the bits, and don't have an ETA at this time.

Cheers guys, but to be honest, I'm not opposed to paying £2 for a set of feathered wings.
Not when they are plastic and well detailed.

Just seems weird that kroots are avian descent, yet people use leathery wings on them rather than feathered.

But hey ho, I'll keep an eye on eBay.
