What are your plans? Looks like the stats in WD 120 and 121 will let you use them as-is OR you can use them as counts-as for other warscrolls.

They're also releasing rules to allow Age of Sigmar models to be used in Silver Tower. The Lord of Plagues is due in an upcoming White Dwarf.

Good point. I think that card for the Plagues guy is in one of the ones that gives you AoS stats.

The one Aelf assassin ignores Rend, on a 4 can teleport in the Command phase to with in 3" of an enemy unit and if it does gets a +1 to hit, and if he kills at least one model he can immediately move 8" after he attacks.

So throw a shield or two on him so he can survive shooting (hes only a 5+) then put him within 1"-2" for a no-fail charge. Kill a model and get him out of combat before the unit strikes back.

The mistwalker can, once per turn, get a 1+ save against a single attack

On a surly Warboar, leading the Waaagh!

I want to get several extra of the Tzaangors and build a Tzeentch themed Chaos Bray/Warrior force. Anybody wants to lose theirs, I'm your huckleberry, ahem, OT, sorry.
So yes, very much so, yes.

Their warscrolls are in the app now.

The two Tzeentch units are quite dull. The Gaunt Summoner is much better than the previous.

I would say if you are playing an free guild, devoted or stormcast army the new warrior priest would really fit well. Stormcast do really need that warrior priest he fits the theme being a divine spell caster and he can unbind magic something that the stormcast are lacking since they don't really trust wizards "outside" of ayzr.

I fully expect the Tenebrael Shard to be an excellent choice for taking out Wizards or War Machine crews on the first turn!

Personally I would love to add all the heroes into my force and plan to when I have the game (which won't be till later in the year unfortunately).

I've wanted to paint a Stormcast for some while now (not sure when I started to like them lol). I think adding a single Stormcast to my Freeguild army will really show off how massive they are.

I've been wanting a Fyreslayer hero to add alongside my Vulkite Beserkers and the Doomseeker seems perfect!

The mistweaver I want to add as a mystic to accompany my Aelven Princess (Alarielle).

The Warrior Priest is great too. He is of a different scale to the existing Empire but as he is of a different ethnicity it should look fine.

Yeah can't wait to get this! All the coverage is killing me.

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Not sure what I'm going to do with the heroes yet, but definitely looking to use the Tzeentch models as the starting point of a daemons army. Never played daemons before so will be cool to try this out!

I plan on sprinkling in the various heros to my already existing armies. As for the tzeentch, I plan on starting up a force of tzeentch demons, minotaurs, and chaos warriors to assist them.

The knight-questor and warrior priest for me. Some other Order heroes as well.

The Mistweaver could be fun, might give her a more damsel-esque theme so her mists could be associated with a lake.

Might start a Tzeentch force with the minis when I get around to them myself....So much on the table for me to paint I don't know when I'll have the chance of grabbing he game, or just buy pieces off others.

I would love to use them in my games (the tzaanagors and the cultists) but will need more of them before i put them in my armies.

The cutlists are basically tzeentch themed marauders and I'd want to run them in 20-30 like my reavers.

Same with the tzaanagors, they are beastmen and I'd want them in 20 or so.

My wife's two AoS "projects" are starting a new Seraphon army, but also rebasing her huge Dark Elf collection. I'm imagining she'll have me paint the Tenebrael Shard to match that later army, and expect her to play it often with them, as it seems like an amazing unit.

Has SCGT or PPC done points for the Quest Heroes yet?

Originally I didn't plan on buying any of them.
However, I then realised the priest came with a gryph-hound for £8, so I grabbed a few of those.

Then while there I got tempted and grabbed the Ogroid too.
Shortly after I picked up 16 brimstone horrors for £20.
So it seems my tzeentch daemons are getting a boost again.

Tzaangors, Darkoath Chieftain, Familiars, Sorcerer, and the Ogroid will be in my Beastman/Chaos Undivided force.

I've already got Nurgle mixed into the Beastman, Khorne mixed in as well - now I'll have Tzeentch to throw in. Slaanesh stuff is actually coming in the mail, it's been about 6 weeks since I've placed my order with an eBayer. >: (

Soon I will have a GRAND Beastman army, supported by dozens of gibbering demons, diseased beasts, and mutated creatures.

How are you guys basing your Silver Tower minis? I want to use them in AoS and fit in with my Chaos army, but dirt and grass will look a bit out of place in silver tower...

Someone over on Board Game Geek used transparent acrylic bases for the characters. Looked surprising good. Personally, I prefer the look of plain, black bases, so I have yet to base any of my figures.

Haven't based yet just for this reason. Now the acrylic bases sound interesting.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Well last night I made a spider tiny grot skirmish army. Made a unit of 25 spider grots using the 8 for WQ ST, a converted set of 8-10 of night gobos(not with 50% more limbs lol) and the crew from an aracnarok. Backed up by spider shaman and spider gobo lord spider rider dude, giant spider bases and a spider catapult. Ill get another aracnarok at some point to give the armie teeth (i used the old one to make a soul grinder for a our slannesh army based on the dark souls npc's quelaag n sister)

As for bases i think the hero's may end up getting pegged/magnetic bases so i can have bases for both. but ill probably base them for the armies they go in as ill be using other already based minis as heros too. Fluff/excuse the ever changing tower paints the floor with a path of the heros making lol. foresty for wood elves, lava based for khornie chaos dudes ect.

I was going to justify it the same way. The space within the Silver Tower is mostly an illusion, and wherever the hero's heart truly lies, their path reflects it.

Works for all of my AoS armies mainly because my Chaos units are either snow or fire, and my Lizardmen army is Lustria/jungle themed (since they're usually fighting on their own continent).

yeah agreed i like the idea personally and may just save my self hassle and only go crazy stain glass metal gear work on the zinch stuff - talking all an illusion... i wounder if that really the silver tower is just a field some where with all the heros trippin balls with a gobbo feedin map caps into their faces while the gobos steal all their gear, leaving them to stumble around thinking they are saving the day when they are just semi naked, glazed eyed and have been totally screwed over lol

I saw that but I wonder how they glue the figures on without super glue 'frosting' the clear acrylic.

I did this for my Zombicide game, and it wasn't a problem. The only thing you need to be aware of, is not to put too much glue on the feet, so you the glue doesn't spread beyond the feet, and get "frosting" around the feet.
I kind of liked how it looked, and it's pretty neat especially if you play on a mat, and not a surface with texture, as the transparent acrylic base will get more and more scratched over time if you move it around over textured boards/terrain.

I guess I'll have to base them to fit in with my Chaos army and not care about the slight weirdness when playing Silver Tower.

I prefer the clear bases when board gaming, but will base these to fit in with my aos as others have done.

I look forward to finally having more chaos demon options. I think they will join my local in some battles for variety.
