Your troops section is off. Your missing platoon command squads.

Ok, I wasn't sure if that was optional or mandatory. Thanks

In addition, Pask needs to be in a command tank rather than a heavy support choice. The commissar is an upgrade for a platoon command squad - as a standalone it would be a Lord Commissar for 65 points base. You also need a second troop choice, as the infantry squads are part of a platoon.

I'd recommend downloading Battlescribe to help with your list building.

It is true that nothing desirable is given to us for free. The only thing we can be certain about is a mundane, repetitive, and thoughtless existence. Improving our lives takes dedication and hard work, as our dreams won't simply become reality. Those who give up trying to better themselves get stuck in a state of hopelessness with no aspirations or goals. They live only in the depressing present. They blend into the crowd of people stuck in the same place and their lives slowly drain their hopes and desires. Seeing people in this situation is disheartening, but no situation is absolutely hopeless. Any situation can be changed if there is a will to change it.

And you will need a second troop choice.. a platoon is a single troop choice regardless of how many squads and add ons

( I suggest a group of veterans in one of your chimeras..)

The power weapons are not useful on the infantry squads unless you plan to blob with a lord commissar. I run all of mine with flamer and melta bomb but I play mech guard.

Still need two troop choices... A Platoon command squad and 2-5 infantry squads counts as 1 troop choice....

The platoon standard isn't really good unless you just want it because it looks cool. There is a decent Cadian relic standard that grants fearless though.

However your bigger issue is what is the dedicated transport for? The bullgryn? Because they are very bulky and are over the capacity of the transport.

I'm not sure of your local list building requirements. Do they limit you to 2 or 3 detachments? I like how this list is going so far though you just need some tweaks to make it work. Add a vet squad in chimera with 3x melta for your second troop choice. Give me a sec I'll post a list that should work for you using what similar to what you want.

New List:
Cadian 12th Regiment 1500 Point List

HQ: 470 Points
Leman Russ Battery- Pasks Iron Fist: 470 Points
2 Leman Russ Battle Tanks and
Knight Commander Pask in a punisher

Troops: 435 Points
Platoon Command Squad: 85 Points
(Vox Caster, 3xmelta gun, Chimera)
Infantry Squad 1: 60 Points
(Autocannon)
Infantry Squad 2: 60 Points
(Autocannon)
Commissar : 25 points
(Combine both infantry squads and add the commissar)

Veterans 160 points
3x melta, Vox caster, and chimera

Detachment 2
Emperor wraith artillery company 595 points
2x basilisk
Manticore
Company command squad with volkans cane and chimera
Enginseer

I didn't have enough points for ogryns or to make them a meaningful addition (like rampart detschment). However you now have 2 chimeras that are both objective secured that move forward and can threaten most units and the platoon command squad can issue orders to themselves and the veterans however the main use of the vox is to give the artillery twin linkage.

The company command squad has the volkans cane meaning he can issue two orders a turn out of the chimera and almost never fail and can issue orders to both the platoon blob or the artillery granting either ignores cover. The enginseer and commissar can join the blob for a bit of melee help if needed or the enginseer can sit back and repair any damage to the company command chimera of artillery

The 3 tanks are nice however feel free to change the battletsnks into other tanks if you wish however you will probably like to keep pask on a punisher since he grants it rending making it a threat to most units. He also can issue tank orders as well.

Thanks that list looks like a good base to tweak a bit, I dropped the other chimera without really thinking about the very bulky rule for the bullgryns. I was orginaly considering an engineer but wasn't sure wether to add him or not, how do basilisks perform in game as I have heard mixed opinions on them? Thanks for the advice/help.

As for the enginseer, i don't really know, they often don't make there points back, but then again could help those artillery survive. I would try it and see if he's effective.

Normally basilisk are good but not amazing and wyvern are a bit better but different.
At str9 ap3 ordinance blast a basilisk can hurt almost any target in game whereas a wyvern is multiple small blasts at str4 ap6 but comes already twinlinked and ignores cover so it can put out a lot of hits so is great against lightly armoured infantry.

The basilisk in that formation though can receive unfailable orders that ignore cover and can get twin linkage once a game as well. It's a mich harder hitting and threatening blast.

Enginseer are only ok but it is required In that formation he is a basically a powerfist wielding model so he does have some punch and he can power of the machine spirit which is occasionally useful or repair hull. I wouldn't take him normally (however The best tank formation imho requires one and he makes it so it's harder to truly hurt those tanks on the penetration table.)

I think I will take the engineer just to fill up points if anything, If not I might replace him with 2 heavy weapons teams. The basilik seems like the better artillery option over the wyvern. Thanks.

You can't drop anything in the emporer wraith artillery company detachment.
It was probably to fast for me to introduce multiple detachments to you.

That detachment comes from the Cadian supplement. It allows your artillery to take orders and be twinlinked.
Everything in the detschment is good even the token enginseer is useful to have.

It's a bit convoluted at the moment. You can take the same units in the rule book detachment (CAD) if you wish but you lose out on a few special rules.
