Inspired by my leftover bitz I wanted a bit more sinister look to my Soulgrinders. It took a while to complete these and the project took many turns before they ended up like this.

Hellraiser meets Dark Mechanicus perhaps.. Created by some Fabius Bile wannabee.

Next up is probably their parent daemon.

Hope you like 'em!

I think the black parts need some work, but damn those are some terrible things to see on the battlefield.

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

They're both excellent, but the first one in particular is by far the most Cenobite-esque (and therefore the coolest).

The first one with that face looks much more terrifying then most official models. Probably by hitting the uncanny valley.

Yup, couldn't put words as to why the first one looked so much more disturbing than the second (in a good way), and now that you mention it, the uncanny valley effect is definitely why. Something is just so much creepier when you take a horrifying aberration of flesh and machine and give it a somewhat normal human head and face. They both look stunning and I wish they were official models (especially the first).

The thought that enters your mind is "How did he get... nevermind <shudder> best not to think about it".

Great conversions! I add a check mark in the creepy column. I am not a fan of mostly black paint jobs, but this does NOT mean your paint job isn't well done! I would love to see these on the table!
