These are my Fan Made Rules, and I'm going off the Assault Brigade rules. I'm not going to mention much of the Seige Regiment rules due to the fact i feel the Assault Brigade rules are slightly better since they have air support.
This is my personal opinion on how the Death Korps should be, Game wise.
My objective is to make to Death Korps easier to play and not so punishing. I really doubt an update to there rules, if there is an update I feel it won't be for a few(I mean many) years. and only in a $90 book.
Would love as many opinions as possible.
Spoiler:
1. Allow COMBINED SQUADS. For Really Good Reasons
2. Make Krak Grenades optional. Judging from the Astra Militarum Codex of 1/pt per model, this would reduce every unit by 10 points. Makes a difference for large infantry armies.
3. Make CCS at least 20 points cheaper. 100 points for CCS is way too MUCH.
4. DON'T TOUCH THE DEATH RIDERS, their fine as they are.
5. Give the Infantry Platoon Heavy Weapons Squads, this is mainly a complant for the Assault Brigade Rules. I feel the reason the Heavy Weapons Squads were left out was due to The Forlorn Hope ability.
6. Give Engineer Squads the option of 2 Special Weapons and the heavy weapons team.
7. I liked the idea from the Seige Regiment Rules, that made the Engineers From a Troop choice to an Elites choice, if upgraded with a Hades Drill.
8. Let the Quartermaster be upgraded with a plasmer pistol. Theres a model for it but no rule for it. -_-
9. Tank Commanders. Maybe instead of Knight Commander Pask The Death Korps get access to the Forward Command Tank, just an idea.
10. Their is no reason for the Leman Russ Tanks to more expensive then the Astra Militarum ones. Its the same tank.
11. I liked the idea of Grenadiers zipping around the battlefield in a Centaur, so I feel the ones form the Seige Regiment are better.
12. I think Grenadiers and Engineers should be Troop choices.
13. I think that is someone wanted the Thudd Guns and/or Heavy Mortors to be ziped around by centaurs then they should be cheaper if taken with said artillery. 40 points as a transport is fine but i feel its a bit much for a 55 point Big Gun, maybe 20-35 points.
14. I think Hydras as an Elite choice is great.
15. The Memento Mori upgrade should give the Company Commander Eternal Warrior for the whole game.
16. in the Seige Regiment rules you have access to the Master Of Ordnance, in the Assault rules he is replaced by an Artillerist. WTF.
17. I'm fluff at heart so I don't like the idea of addint Valkyries and Vendettas, so I think the Imperial Navy Air Support Squadron is an.............adequate replacment.

Thanks for reading.

You need to be able to explain why DKoK deserves all these bluffs besides, "I think they should have or be x" to your opponent.

All your complaint are about your DKoK should cost as much or have Astra Militarum stuff. Play AM then.

I have a great distaste for DKoK because they are the reason Why my Renegades and Heretics codex cost $100. They share the same book and all the fluff and pictures is about how the DKoK triumphs over R&H.
