This thought had been nagging me for a while now. Making a Soace Marine army out of the Liberators from the fantasy line. The scale looks cool for true scale, the proportions are spot on, but making the baroque armor look powered is where I am stumped. I have seen the occasional picture here and there, anyone actually done this though?

There's someone on Bolter & Chainsword doing a whole Angels Encarmine army of them.

I haven't said anything there, but I really, really don't like the way it looks. especially when the level of integration is simply sticking marine helmets and boltguns on the Sigmarites.

Whereever I've seen it done, it just doesn't look right. The aesthetics of marines are so well established, even crazier art that differs from the standard armour substantially doesn't depart so radically as to resemble the Sigmarites.

YMMV of course.
