So just wanted some opinions and advice here.

I want to use summoning discipline with my loyalist Imperial Guard, however I'm going to use Stormcast eternal for the models. The reason is I wanted to have my psykers manifest physical entities of the Emperors will and stormcast look pretty good for it.

What I want to know is what models would look good with what deamon units, and also if people think this would be acceptable at all?

... I Kinda like it

But you need a clever way to make very clear which daemons they are representing.

Yeah this sounds like a really cool idea. It makes me think of the summoning spells in D&D, as in you'd be summoning celestial versions of the infernal daemons (that do the exact same thing in this case haha).

Cool idea. The larger size of the minis will make lesser daemon proxys tricky though.

Be cool to paint them in a subtly Tzeentchian scheme to hint at possible unwitting heresy.

For the different alignments I was going to paint parts of them in different colours, possibly find some dead space marine chapters with matching chaos colours and use their heraldry on the shields.

One of the legion of the damned possibilities is that they are the Emp's version of daemons. Would make an interesting scheme on stormcast.

I'm very curiously how painting them different is going to adequately communicate which type of daemon they are. If this is purely for fun, I'd say pick a single daemon type and just use that. It'll be a bit more flavourful (the Imperium isn't known for having lots of different guys with different stats; more like similar guys with different equipment), and will also be easier to play out on the tabletop.

Otherwise, maybe give them a few banners in each squad that serve no in-game purpose, but which communicate their function.

Four colours representing the different gods, then different model sizes as you work through the lesser, greater and beasts of each god.

Thinking liberators for lesser deamons, big sword ones for bloodletters, double sword for deamonettes. Judicators for pink horrors.

Bloodletters - Greatswords?

Plaguebearers - Swords and shields?

Horrors - Crossbows or bows or something?

Daemonettes - some kind of dual wielding weapon?

Also i love this idea, go for it!

I'd rather Stormcasts represented Space Marines but I wouldn't complain.

I'd also just use paint to show what kind of Daemon they are.
