Thinking about buying the game, loved the Old Warhammer Quest. How is the game play?

They're not really the same.

Old Quest was a game you could play endlessly, with characters you can develop over time and acquire all sorts of items, level the characters up, get tons of new skills, and constantly delve into a dungeon that is almost always unfair, and always random.

New Quest has limited replayability, with a small amount of carry-over between dungeons. Items are limited, skills are fleeting, and it's far easier to just swap in and out with characters as there's no real roleplay aspect to the game. It's heaps of fun, don't get me wrong - I don't for a second regret buying it - but it has none of the original's depth.

All of this could change if GW actually supports New Quest though, which would be awesome.
